Despite the extreme heat and a less than perfect lawn, ICC entertained fête goers with a display of croquet and invited them to “to have a go”. An offer which was readily taken up and enjoyed by young and old alike.

The day was most successful in promoting this ancient and quintessentially English sport and proved to be an excellent way of spreading the word and putting ICC firmly on the local map.
